Passion for Yoga
As a teenager in a small town in rural MidWest, I learned about yoga through a film about a young man who found yoga as a coping mechanism for dealing with change in his own life. The name escapes me, but the lesson I learned stuck with me. The connection between mind and body can serve or hinder us and to harness that connection will bring great peace and personal insight.
Seasons change, challenges arise, we evolve.
In 2014, I received my 200 hour certification from Yogaful Day Shala with Bill Cottrell. Since, I have participated in a variety of workshops and trainings on anatomy, chair yoga, children's yoga, and more. I am currently pursuing my 300 hour certification and Ayurveda training through My Vinyasa Practice and expect to complete both certificated in early 2023.
Now, after nearly three decades of a practice that has ebbed and flowed, expanded and morphed with the course of life, I feel a deep calling to share the passion that has helped me through the most challenging and exciting stages of my development. I look forward to getting to know you and working with you through this part of your journey.
